One Base Zerg Build Versus Fast Expand

Hey I hope you are having an easy Sunday, and of course Happy Father’s Day. Here is a pretty cool Diamond level Zerg verus Zerg game between Intropy and Duban commentated by MrShavvo. One of the players goes for a fast expand, and one goes for fast Zerglings and Banelings.

The one-base player does a great job of putting constant pressure on the fast expander, while teching to Mutalisks. This game shows how it is important to get good at one base early game play before you start trying fast expansion builds. One base builds are much easier to micro manage, and are a better choice than fast expanding in the majority of games you will play. Watch and learn.
