Saturday and hundreds of online matches are being played every minute. Lots of placements happening. Here is a pro match between Morrow and Sheth playing as Terran and Zerg. Krytos is the caster and he is pretty knowledgeable about tactics.
Both Sheth and Morrow expand quickly. The Terran goes for fast Siege Tanks and sets up a nice wall of them in front of his base. He then pushes against the Zerg with Tanks and Marines and takes down one of his expansions before being met with Zerglings, Roaches, Hydralisks, and Mutalisks. The Terran army gets destroyed but he rebuilds and goes back in with Marauders added to his army but again is held off.
Both players then mass very large armies with tier three units and dance about with each other trying to get the perfect position before committing to an epic engagement.
