Protoss Cannon Rush Versus Zealots

Hooray its Saturday, the best day of the week. I hope you have a good one. Here is a very interesting game between Varaxis and Texmix playing as Protoss versus Protoss. I haven’t seen a game like this in a while.

One of the Protoss players goes for a Cannon rush, and positions his Cannons out of sight in the natural expansion of his opponent. His opponent naturally builds Zealots and pushes into the Cannon Rusher’s base because he knows it will not be very well defended. But when the Zealots get to the Cannon Rushers base, they get blocked at the entrance by a wall of Probes and perfectly caught in the cross fire of two Cannons. The player that gets Cannon rushed does eventually break it with Immortals, but if the Cannon rusher had been teching while rushing or playing a slightly weaker player he would have won. You have give this kind of Cannon rush a try when Beta comes back.
