Hey Starcrafters whats up. Here is a great game between Protoss and Zerg, in fact the best Zerg play I have seen so far in Starcraft 2. This is Crota’s first time playing Zerg in Starcraft 2, but he is a very good all around player and has a lot of experience from Starcraft 1. His opponent Zippy also plays a very strong Protoss Game. If you want to learn how to counter Protoss Carriers and Motherships, this is the game to watch.
The Zerg has some major trouble with the Protoss Void Rays in the beginning, but counters them with Hydralisks and smart base management. This game shows how powerful Zerg Nydus Canals can be when used at the right time. Nydus Canals are those big worms that the Zerg can use to burrow under their enemies base and drop an army right on them. Notice how the Zerg waits until the Protoss fleet is away from its base, then moves in multiple times with a Nydus Canal and destroys his expansions, then ducks back into the safety of the Nydus Canal once the Protoss Fleet arrives. Very smart strategy.
