Hey guys whats up? Have a look at this awesome Zerg versus Terran game between two Pro Platinum level players Psyonicreaver and Eek. The Terran goes for a Reaper rush. The thing about Reaper rushes is that if you are successful and are able to destroy of a lot of your enemies drones and buildings then you can weaker your opponent for the rest of the game or possible win right away, but the tradeoff is that your early game economy will be weak too since you will have to spend a lot of minerals to do the rush and not be able to build as many mining SCVs. Reaper rushes can work well against weaker players, but highly skilled Pro players are usually able to deal with them effectively as they will scout your base and know it is coming. The Terran Reaper rush does get fended off, and the Zerg expands and builds a strong army of Banelings, Roaches, and Hydralisks. The Terran also expands and builds an army of Marines and Marauders. There is a really great battle at the end of the game, notice how the Zerg mixes his Banelings into his army and smashes them into the Marines and Marauders before the Terran can focus fire them.
