Pro Terran Against Protoss WhiteRa Vs Cloud

Hey for those of you who got your box in the mail today welcome and I hope you are having fun playing ladder matches and the campaign. Here is a Pro one versus one match between WhiteRa and Cloud playing on Lost Temple. It is cast by Achaia who has a good voice.

The Terran player starts off by walling his base with a Barracks and a Command Center so he can quickly expand to his natural expansion just by lifting it off and flying it over there. The Protoss also expands quickly while building some Stalkers. He then pushes in with the Stalkers to harass the Terran expansion but is met by a well defended Bunker.

Four more Stalkers arrive and they Blink up the cliff of the Terran base and attacks his buildings while taking Siege Tank and Marine fire. Both sides big large armies while the Protoss continues to Stalker harass. The Terran starts to push across the map with a giant army of Marines and Tanks and is met by a sizable army of Zealots, Stalkers and High Templar. The audio cuts out during the second part, but watch the rest for the epic battles. A lot of players have a hard time against Terran Mech but this game shows that Psy Storms work really well along with keeping an economic advantage over your opponent by continuing to take expansions.

Diamond Match Terran Mech Battling Zerg Mutalisks

So I hope your first day of playing went well. Just think, ten years from now when people are still playing SC2 and waiting for SC3 you will be able to say that you remember playing on the very first day that this epic game was released. But anyway, on to some epic action.

This match is a Diamond level one between Machine and Hashep playing as Terran and Zerg. It is commentated by HD, who is one of the best, and PainUser who is a very high level player. Both players expand early while teching. The Terran gets Banshees at about the five minute mark and sends them to attack the Zerg expansion but he has a good number of Queens and is able to chase them off without losing anything.

The Zerg counter attacks by loading up three Overlords with Zerglings and Roaches and drops them on the undefended Terran main base. He is able to do some good economic damage before losing that force. The Terran then counter attacks with a force of Marines, Siege Tanks, and Banshees but the Zerg gets Mutalisks just in time and is able to destroy all of the Terran anti air units. The Zerg then expands to a couple more bases while loading Banelings into Overlords and dropping them on the Terran mineral line. Extreme battles ensue in part two. Awesome game check it out.

Zerg Hydralisk Push Agaist Protoss Cannon Wall

So its finally here. I hope the midnight release went well and everyone got a copy who camped out. Here is a good game between MoonGalde and Azz playing as Zerg and Protoss commentated by Hunter.

Both players go for a fast expansion. The Protoss does a nice job of walling off the choke point in front of his expansion with a Gateway, Pylons, a Forge and some Photon Cannons. Both do some small attacks on each other until the Zerg gets a strong group of speed Zerglings and Hydralisks to attack the Protoss wall.

He breaks through the wall but is eventually stopped. The Zerg then rebuilds his forces and takes another expansion while the Protoss masses Sentries, Zealots, and High Templar to Storm the Zerg forces. There are some epic battles in the second part that you have to see.

Queen Of Blades Kerrigan Beautiful Artwork

Hey guys the servers are coming up and the long wait is almost over. Here is an incredible piece of art showing Kerrigan as the Queen of Blades commanding the Zerg masses. The detail is amazing. The Mutalisks flying across the moon look so cool. I like her pose she looks very confident.

High Yield Fast Expanding Zerg Versus Terran Mech

This is a pro match between Dimaga and PainUser playing as Terran and Zerg. In it we see the Zerg go for a fast expansion to the nearest high yield mineral patch which is pretty uncommon. The Terran does see it and builds Hellions to try and stop it while the Zerg builds Roaches to try to counter them.

The Terran continues to do hit and run attacks on the Zerg bases with his Hellions while the Zerg puts up more expansions and masses more Roaches. PainUser expands himself while massing Siege Tanks and Thors which is a very strong combo against Zerg. The Terran pushes in against the Zerg just as he gets some Infestors, but even with them the Terran army smashes everything in sight.

The Zerg would have been better off just fast expanding to his natural expansion while massing Mutalisks and Speed Zerglings. Infestors with ground units is are not a good enough counter to mass Siege Tanks, you have to beat the Terran before they have enough time to mass a Mech army. Even Ultralisks do not help against the mass Tanks.

Zerg Roaches Versus Terran Hellions And Tanks

Hey all how is your Sunday going. Check out this game played on Steppes of War between Psy and Hakumen. They are two very high level Zerg and Terran players. The Zerg goes for a fast expansion while getting Speedlings for defense. Hakumen decides to go for a Barrack, Starport, and Factory build to get Hellions, Siege Tanks, and Ravens.

The Terran is able to do some pretty good harassment with a small group of Hellions and destroys many of the Zerg Drones. But the Zerg pumps out some Roaches and counter attacks with surprising effect. The Terran makes a big mistake by building a Supply Depot as part of his wall because they just don’t have enough hit points to resist an attack. When playing as Zerg against Terran, it is very important to do a major attack on your opponent before they are able to build a big army of tanks.

Terran Mech Smashing Protoss Ground Army

It is the last Saturday before release, next time this week we will be playing all day. Comic-Con is also this weekend in San Diego and you should watch the G4TV coverage as its a pretty cool event. Here is a game between Makh and Sinan playing as Protoss and Terran on Desert Oasis.

The Terran goes for a tech to Siege Tanks and Thors while getting some Marines for early defense and Hellions to shield his tanks. He adds a couple Ravens for detecting Observers, to act as a spotter for his Siege Tanks so he can see up cliffs, and for their great abilities such as Auto Turret and Point Defense Drone. The Protoss gets a ground army of Immortals, Stalkers, Zealots and Sentires. The big battle at the end shows that even with Immortals, Terran Mech armies are very hard for Protoss to deal with. The Protoss should have scouted and seen the Terran going for Mech and pushed on him before he got more than a couple Siege Tanks or he should have gone straight for air units.

Pro Terran Bio Ball Versus Protoss High Templar

Hey check out this awesome Pro match between QXC and Clarc playing as Terran and Protoss with some great commentary by Krytos. The map they are playing on is small with only two spawn points and maps like they usually involve very aggressive play since bases are so close together.

Neither player fast expands because the map is small and they know that if they expand too early it will be hard to defend. The Terran goes for two Barracks to build Marines and Marauders. Once he has two Marines and two Marauders, he pushes on the Protoss base because he sees there are only two Stalkers there to defend it. He is able to destroy a couple of the Protoss builings and destroy a significant number of Probes with expert Concussive Shell micro before getting chased off.

The Terran then decides to expand instead of continuing his push since he knows he is ahead and just wants to build a really strong army before finishing off his opponent. He then goes back in with a large army once Stim Pack research is finishes and smashes against the Protoss army of Immortals, Sentries and Stalkers. Start watching and see the big battles with High Templar and Siege Tanks at the end.

Zergling Swarm Against Protoss Mixed Tier One

Have a look at this match from the Trans Tasman Tournament that happened during beta. It is between Stroggos and Filthy playing as Zerg and Protoss. This game is commentated by Sephyre and his friend and they do a great job so subscribe to them if you enjoy it.

The Protoss goes for saturating the minerals in his main base while building an army of Zealots, Stalkers and Sentries which is always a strong starting build against Zerg and transitions well in mid and late game. The Zerg goes for an early expansion while building Zerglings to constantly put pressure on the Protoss base. The Zerg player then gets a large force of Zerglings and attacks the Protoss base just as he is trying to expand. Things heat up in part two with Colossus and Mutalisks so start watching now and see what happens.

Zerg Dealing With Terran Mech Build

Here is a Platinum level game between Psy and iEchoic playing as Zerg and Terran. This video will show you how to deal with Terran Mech builds which is where they go for Siege Tanks, Hellions, and Thors. Siege Tanks pretty much wreck every type of Zerg ground unit, and Thors do very well against air units when in groups so its a very strong build against Zerg.

The Zerg starts by fast expanding and getting Zerglings to harass the Terran. The Terran goes for Hellions and Marauders while waiting for Siege Tanks and Thors, but decides to not get Siege Tanks after seeing the Zergs Mutalisks. The Zerg then switches to Roaches since the Terran didn’t get Siege Tanks and they are very strong against Thors. Lots of great battles during this game especially the one at the end . The key to beating Terran Siege Tanks with Zerg is to fast tech to Mutalisks and attack him before he gets enough Thors to stop them. Psy deserves more subscribers he is a really good payer and a great commentator.
