Starcraft 2 Pro Match Protoss Vs Terran ZeeRax Vs Frequence

Hey whats up guys, check out this great game between ZeeRax and Frequence playing as Protoss and Terran. The Protoss builds a Stalker first rather than a Zealot because when playing against Terran as Protoss, it is important to first build a Stalker to fend off a Reaper rush as if you build a Zealot the Reaper will destroy it and then be able to destroy some of your Probes. The Terran goes Marines, Marauders, Medivacs, and Ghosts for EMP which is a standard but effective build against Protoss. The Protoss goes Stalkers, Zealots, and High Templars for Storm and also builds some Void Rays for early harassment of the Terran base.

In this game we see a great strategy used when the Terran uses a Medivac Dropship to drop a cloaked Ghost right next to the Protoss Mineral line and drops a nuke destroying a bunch of Probes before the Protoss is able to get Observers to detect the cloaked Ghost. While this was somewhat effective, the Terran probably would have been better off using the resources he wasted on getting Nukes to build more Marines and Marauders in order to have a stronger main attack force. Very effective use of High Templar Storms by the Protoss, notice how fast he casts them. The Terran also should have built less Medivacs and more Ghosts and Marauders because Medivacs just don’t heal fast enough during combat and it is always better to just go for increasing the damage per second of your army with more combat units. Enjoy.
