I was reading a post on the Starcraft 2 official forums today and it was talking about the features of Zerg Creep in SC2. Zerg Creep is the goo that surrounds Zerg buildings, and helps Zerg live in alien environments.
All Zerg units except drones now move 30% faster when over Creep. Overlords can spew creep, and now when Zerg does Overlord rushes they will drop their units and spew their creep at the same time so that their units will have that 30% boost to speed which will really give them an advantage in combat and micro management.
There is also something called Creep Tumors which Zerg can plant and then detonate. Enemy players will need to get their form of Detection in order to detect the Tumors and destroy them before the Zerg can use them.
